Enhanced authentication now required for all Tyler Insurance Filings users

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) strengthen system security and protect sensitive data

Published: April 16, 2026

Tyler Insurance Filings has completed the rollout of enhanced authentication requirements for all users.

With Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO), only authorized insurance company and state agency representatives can access important commercial and personal policy information — helping reduce the risk of unauthorized access and fraud.

New login experience

As of March 31, 2026, the legacy login process has been fully replaced with a streamlined, single-step authentication workflow.

Users can now:

  • Select Login to begin the authentication process
  • Select Forgot Password? to reset their password
  • Select Still can't log in? Contact us to request support

MFA setup

Tyler Insurance Filings uses Okta Workforce Identity to manage MFA.

Users with recent system activity received an activation email with instructions to set up their account.

Reset Password screen allows users to unlock their accounts and reset passwords

Self-service account management

After completing MFA setup, users can manage their own access without administrator assistance support.

Users can:

  • Reset passwords
  • Unlock their accounts

This reduces downtime and provides faster access when issues arise.

SSO option for organizations

Some organizations have implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) through a federated identity provider, like Microsoft Entra ID.

With SSO, users can access Tyler Insurance Filings using their organization's existing credentials.

If your company uses SSO, contact your internal administrator for access.

Are you interested in enabling SSO? Contact Tyler Insurance Filings to get started.

These enhancements are designed to provide a more secure, efficient, and reliable experience for all Tyler Insurance Filings users. If you have questions about MFA, SSO, or accessing your account, contact our support team for assistance.
