About Tyler Insurance Filings
Tyler Insurance Filings partners with state jurisdictions nationwide to provide secure and efficient services to file proof-of-insurance certificates online.
Tyler Insurance Filings is the "doing business as" name for our company, National Online Registries, LLC (NOR), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tyler Technologies, Inc.
For more than two decades, Tyler Insurance Filings has enabled quick, convenient submission and processing of insurance forms. In prior years, insurance companies mailed or faxed paper insurance certificates that required state agencies to manually review. Tyler Insurance Filings reduces paper backlogs, improves data quality and security, and accelerates the time from submission to state approval through online and automated processes.
Tyler Insurance Filings removes barriers, improves customer service, and helps keep insurers, motor carriers, and drivers compliant with state financial responsibility laws.

National Online Registries (NOR) launched the Motor Carrier Information Exchange (MCInfo) for reporting commercial insurance certificates.
MCInfo was a pioneer in the development of online options to replace traditional paper-based government interactions with insurers. Over the years, the system expanded to offer 14 commercial insurance forms and partner with 20+ states while known as MCInfo.
MCInfo rebranded as NIC Insurance Filings to reflect its parent company, NIC, Inc., as well as expanded personal auto liability insurance certificates and automation options.
The NIC team added SR22 and SR26 form generation and filing service for insurance companies covering individual drivers. NIC Insurance Filings' web service automation options were expanded to cover filings to more states and ensure compliance with agency rules.
NIC Insurance Filings became Tyler Insurance Filings in recognition of our new parent company, Tyler Technologies.
Tyler Technologies, Inc. purchased NIC, Inc. in April 2021. Tyler Insurance Filings fits seamlessly into its parent company's efforts to empower state entities, businesses, and citizens to operate more efficiently and connect more transparently with each other.
