State-Specific Details
Name and address matching: All filings must include the exact name and address listed on the motor carrier's operating authority application with the NM DOT.
Identification numbers: All filings must include the insured's New Mexico state motor carrier ID number. Filers can enter "00000" in the State ID field for new motor carriers that have not yet been issued NMRPC numbers. Lookup a motor carrier's New Mexico ID number using this Motor Carrier Search.
Renewal cadence: Insurance filings should be submitted annually or at the motor carrier's renewal.
